New Clear Stamps!!!

Hey guys!!! As most of you probably know.. I like to scrapbook in my spare time! It's a fun activity that allows me to be creative with random things I have and create something beautiful out of my pictures that Jimmy will not let me hang around the house lol! IF YOU NEVER TRIED TO SCRAPBOOK! TRY IT! it is fun and good for relaxing.

The reason why i bring up scrapbooking is because I just recently got these amazing stamps from a youtuber known as Swissgirldesigns. She is a creative scrapbooker and amazing at what she does. So she also sells stamps that she makes and designs her self! Not only are they great designs that you will not find at michaels, but they are just simple and great to use in many layouts. I like the idea of someone trying to use youtube as a way to get their name out and i support that. I think you find great people on youtube and in the end you get amazing ideas and inspiration and you can find how to do anything there! (you can even find out how to do feather extensions!! now thats something I have never heard of til now lol)

30 thousand a year pays off!!!

I want to first off thank my education that I have recieved at the mount. I have come to realize how valuable the education I received, from theology to asian civilization. I feel that I am finally one of those people that can look at an item and see and know the history behind it. An example is having a discussion with my grandmother about the purpose of mass. I personally am not catholic, but I was educated in a catholic school and tought the foundations of theology. Anyways during this discussion my grandmother was surprised with how I knew the different sections of the mass, such as the gathering, giving, etc. The reason why I bring this us is because no matter how useless the information seems, it becomes a helpful tool and it can only work in your favor! This was proven to me today when I was at the auction. I saw this statue. No one seemed to know what it was. The auctioneer didn't even know what it was... she called it the statue with "3 faces". It took me 2 seconds to realize it was a bodhisattva! Now a bodhisattva is a buddhist statue of an enlightened being to basically provide inspiration to people to strive to get to nirvana, the ultimate enlightenment. I thought it was was a great find because of the history behind it so I nabbed it for less than 5 dollars! :) Now I am pretty sure it is an old authentic statue of some sort, but I want to do more research on it to find out what dynasty it came from and what enlightened being it is made after... it just a neat mystery...

I am going to used it as inspiration for me to strive and be the best that i can be!

Breakfast for dinner

I am one of those people who don't like eating breakfast for dinner... But last night I was in a very creative mood and i was craving poached eggs! Now I have never(and I mean never!!!) made poached eggs before.. And I didn't screw it up!!! Thank god lol anyway.. The yumm dish I made was sauté mushrooms and asparagus on top of Ginger rice with 2 poached eggs on top... In a word... Amazing!! So yummy and the egg added a great creaminess to it.. Successful dinner and no food poisoning!!! Score one Amanda!!! Lol

Skeleton tee!!

Today I'm making skeleton tees with my kids!!! This should be fun and interesting!!! I got plan white shirts n fabric markers n I know they are gonna go crazy for it!! Here is one I made that took me 30 min to complete... Love it? Hate it? Lol I think it's fun!! It's my new workout shirt lol

Oh Ed Hardy... How I love thee...

The bag I'm sporting today is none other than my extremely badass Ed hardy bag :) now Ed hardys are expensive ... But I got mine for 30 bucks!! There are a few ways to score a great authentic bag... One, eBay, two, tjmaxx, and third, be really lucky lol in order to get a good deal is all about timing.. Like knowing when tjmaxx gets a new shipment of new items (which is Tuesday lol) n just being lucky at stumbling across great things :) just remember that next time u want something brand name... Bargain shop!!!

Layer Cake review

A light white wine, Layer Cake is a virgin Chardonnay. This means that no oak has mauled the wine to give it a unique dry taste. My rating for this wine is a 7/10... The reason is that it is a dry wine but the favors are not as bold as I would like it... It would pair well with deserts and compliment the sweetness with it's subtle flavors

Red hot kitchen look

My new look in the kitchen is based around my Stango painting! Gotta love the reds, blacks and silvers .. Very modern and home-y lol I think it always important to have inspiration n use it to create a vibe that you would fall in love with! I love being in my kitchen more than ever now :)

St pattys day shenanigans!!!

It's the day of the Irish and I'm out with Jimmy celebrating !!! Highlight of the night is a drunk girl running around n running into buffalo wild wing kitchen and taking a nose dive looking for her purse!!! Lmao!!! Good times, great food, and reliving my great memories from Ireland = great time!!

My new chair!!

Growing up my aunt had the coolest leopard chair that was almost dome shape with a big pillow.! To this day I still think it is the most comfy chair ever... And by chance I come across one that was a good deal.. Now I have my own that resides in my living room !! Big and teal lol

Cool idea for book ends...

I came up with a cool way to hold up my cook books!!! Using my old wine bottles!!! I took my favorite wine, and after enjoying it I put them on top my fridge as book ends to add a nice decor to my kitchen! Just use what you got and in the end it will look good :)

Bridesmaid Dresses!!

I love JCrew Dresses and they have a line of very well prices JCrew and they have the color I love!!! CHARCOAL GRAY!!

I like the dark neutral color because it will make my colors in my flowers pop like magic!

I never thought I wouls say this... but this kink of dress can be worn again!!! lol I already swore to my bridemaids i would never say that but whatever lol :P

Redecorating

My creative side and OCD side wants to redo my apartment and go interior design crazy lol the first step is researching what I want my space to do and key pieces that stick out to me... Such as... A zebra chair!!! Gorgeous lol just trying to use inspiration to help me create :)

Don't bite the hand that feeds you....

Today it was ink day and Jimmy got some new ink put on his arm. It is a gorgeous work of art by a tattoo artist named Joe and he did a great job creating our fatty into tattoo form!

Auction day...

Today Jimmy and I went to the action to hopefully grab some good redskin memorabilia... Well... There were Monk autographed pictures and we lost it to a dumb old asian woman who was prob just gonna resell them on eBay!!! But hey we did get one good thing... No one knew what this picture was.., but it was an original photograph of babe Ruth running into home... Amazing buy since no one saw the amazing find it was!!!

The best sushi I'm Maryland

For the last 5 plus years I have eaten at many sushi places... But the one I find I always come back to and find the best is Yoyogi Sushi I'm kentlands. Not only is it decently priced, but it is yummy good quality... I find myself sometimes coming here for lunch and dinner in the same day... Or even drive over an hour to get my sushi fix. It has a nice small shop feel and the people who work there are amazing! They know my order by heart and they work hard to get my sushi at my table before I even sit down... Literally!!! If ur looking for great sushi, yoyogi is the place for u!! Ps... They are closed on tuesdays and close for 2 weeks during the summer:)

Too much food ... Sleep mode...

My fatty roscoe ate his food so fast he passed out and fell asleep ... With his nose still in the bowl lmao fatty! Lol

La Tasca

My girls and I sometimes like to go out for sangria!! La tasca has the best sangria.. Even if the food isn't amazing.. U can still fall back on the drinks and sitting on big fluffy couches.. Overall it is the most comfy place to socialize with the girls :)

Spa Night

Yesterday was spa night and the girls and I got our masks on, painted our nails and watch A Knights Tale!! Fun sober night:)
